Eli Comes Home

Eli came home on Thursday (11-10-11)! We missed picking him up at the airport, unfortunately, but made it through the yucky traffic in time to meet the McArthurs at the Stake Center for Eli to be released as a full-time missionary. After he was released, we all hung out at the house for a while. After that Jesse dropped me off in Temecula (Friday was Veteran's Day, so, I didn't have school) and he headed home for work the next day.

I took advantage of the holiday and got a mani and pedi with Mackenzie and my mom. I also went for a run for the first time in 2 1/2 months and I FELT THE BURN. It's such a bummer how long it takes to build muscle and endurance and how quickly it goes!

On Saturday, Eli, Jesse and I went to the temple. It was quite the exciting experience. We were supposed to go to the 9am session, but Jesse and I didn't wake up in enough time (typical), so, off to the 10:30 we all went. Well the 10:30 was Spanish-speaking and overloaded, so, they asked us greengos to wait for the next one. At about 11:03, one of the other people waiting for the next session went to ask if they were running late and found out...they put us in the waiting wrong room! So, FINALLY at 11:30 we got to do a session.

When we got home from the temple, we looked at Eli's mission photos and listened to his stories. Jesse found it fascinating. ;)

On Sunday, we went to church and listened to Eli and Mom's FABULOUS talks.
It was a great weekend!
