Mr. Perry Winkle is here to see you now
Jesse, being the fabulously AWESOME husband that he is, listed the after-wedding stuff we have on Craigslist. We bought a lot of stuff with the intention of re-selling it, to help cut the expensive costs of a wedding, but people legit stole stuff from the wedding reception! And some expensive stuff. So, now we won't be able to get all the money back we were hoping for...but that's a rant for another day. One of the things we need to sell are some ties. (Background story: Jesse offered to go to Downtown L.A. to pick-out the groomsmen and ring bearers' aqua ties. He picked them out. He paid for them. Brought the 14 ties home 2 days later after being altered...they were periwinkle. YIKES, so not aqua. So, we had to buy more ties and pray to heaven that we could sell these. I tease him, but there is truly, seriously NO way I could have pulled off this wedding without his help. He rocks!) So, now it's after the wedding, we have 14 ties we'll never need and Jesse is listing them on craigslist (if you get a periwinkle tie for Christmas...sorry). I went on Criagslist today to check-out Jesse's posts of our stuff and I saw this: a glorious Jesse-ism. I've come to LOVE the unexpected, keep-you-on-your-toes, hilarious stuff Jesse does. I would have googled how to spell periwinkle...but that's why I'm boring! So, in honor of my wonderful husband, who first thought that when I said, "they're periwinkle" I was referring to the brand, and who also thought periwinkle belonged to the prestigious family of Two-Word Color Names like Sea Foam and Midnight Blue, here is the post:
