(Jesse's) Grandpa's Birthday

We drove out to Temecula for Grandpa Bert's birthday celebration. I seriously love this man so much! He always cracks me up! The first time I met him, was when I drove Jesse and his family to the airport for their flight to Hawaii. Being newly together and quite smitten with one another, Jesse and I held hands while I was driving my mom's van with everyone in it. Then abruptly I felt a hand smack our hands and Grandpa's voice saying, "Ay, Mijo! You can have the rest of your life to hold her hand! Right now she's DRIVING me." Ironically, the random smack of my hand completely startled me and made me swerve a little. Ever since then, I've loved Grandpa and his hilarious sense of humor.
